Nadal won 6: 4, 6: 0 and thus also won his fourth singles this week - and his 28th Davis Cup singles in a row.
In the first set Nadal survived a tight serve to make it 2-1, after which Evans withstood two breakballs. At 5: 4 Nadal finally came to a 0:40, the third set point did it.
In set two Evans lost this time a contested service match to 0: 2, then Nadal left him only three points.
Previously, Kyle Edmund had taken the lead in the UK.
The doubles now decide who will play Canada in tomorrow's final.
