Dieter Kindlmann is the new trainer for Aryna Sabalenka
The German Dieter Kindlmann is now looking after the world number 11 Aryna Sabalenka .

Aryna Sabalenka couldn't have come the corona-related break from competitions much more inconveniently. After a disappointing start to the season, which probably came about due to a bad stroke of fate , including the first round at the Australian Open, the 22-year-old played in top form in February, first reaching the quarter-finals in Dubai, only to triumph in Doha a week later.
It was all more than five months ago, but the Belarusian has at least been able to celebrate her comeback on the tour. In Lexington, USA, the second seeded Sabalenka won her opening match against Madison Brengle in three sets. One German was also particularly pleased: Dieter Kindlmann.
Angelique Keber's ex-coach swings the coaching scepter in the team of the eleventh in the world rankings, replacing Dmitry Tursonov. Interesting: Kindlmann looked after Sabalenka's twin partner Elise Mertens in 2018.
In Lexington, however, Sabalenka has to do without the support of her new coach. Kindlmann hopes to be able to travel to the USA as soon as possible - at the latest at the US Open, Maria Sharapova's former hitting partner should then be at the side of the six-time WTA title holder.
