Dominic Thiem - Continue to wait for the final diagnosis
The MRI examination in Mallorca did not provide Dominic Thiem with any final information about the severity of his wrist injury. For this reason, the Austrian will undergo another check in Barcelona.

Dominic Thiem's physiotherapist Alex Stober had requested a final diagnosis from the MRI examination in Mallorca, but as his protégé announced via Twitter, Thiem has to wait for a final result.
"Yesterday during the game I had a problem with my wrist. I went straight to the hospital in Palma de Mallorca to have an MRI. The results were not so clear and I decided to go to Barcelona to see a specialist . I hope to get the results and a clear diagnosis in the next few days, "wrote the fifth in the world.
In his second round encounter against Adrian Mannarino, Thiem had felt a "crack" in his wrist when he was 5: 2 and gave up after a long break in treatment.
