According to media reports, three years after their wedding, Rafael Nadal and Xisca Perella became parents of a son. The boy was born on Saturday, October 8th, 2022, in a private clinic in Mallorca. And will be called Rafael like his dad.
Nadal is the last of the Big Four to join the father's squad: Roger Federer , Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have each been able to look forward to offspring several times. Rafael Nadal's most recent sporting appearance was also made with those other legends a few days ago at the Laver Cup in London. But then the Spaniard said goodbye after his double appearance alongside Roger Federer to take care of his wife.
It is not yet clear whether Nadal will serve again this year. The 22-time major champion has long since qualified for the ATP finals in Turin. However, after his elimination against Frances Tiafoe at the US Open, Nadal noted that he didn't know when he would return to a regular tournament.
At the moment, the 36-year-old has other, nicer tasks anyway.
