So the last day of the Generali Austrian Pro Series has come, the Grande Finale has already risen. Now the very last match of the Austrian exhibition event is about who can secure the last remaining place on the podium. The two men fighting for this place are Dennis Novak and Sebastian Ofner - number two and number four in Austria.
Sebastian Ofner showed consistently strong performances during the Generali Austrian Pro Series, particularly standing out due to his victory over Dominic Thiem. For Dennis Novak, however, the tournament was a roller coaster ride, avoidable defeats, such as against David Pichler or Sam Weißborn, were followed by extremely convincing performances in the group phase of the Final 8. Only the number one of the tournament, Dominic Thiem, should turn out to be too strong for the Lower Austrian.
