While Dominic Thiem (against Alexander Erler), Dennis Novak (against Lukas Neumayer) and Jürgen Melzer (against Lenny Hampel) were able to assert themselves three favorites on Tuesday, Sebastian Ofner had to sail twice against David Pichler in the tiebreak. In the placement round after the second group phase, Ofner had just won in three sets against Pichler.
