Julia Grabher and Mira Antonitsch won their groups for the Generali Austrian Open Series and will meet in the placement games of phase 1 on Monday.

While Antonitsch had no problems in the 6: 1 and 6: 0 against Irina Dshandshgava, Grabher had to go over three sets against Sinia Kraus, winning 7: 6, 3: 6 and 6: 3. The two unbeaten group winners will play against each other on Monday in the federal performance center in Südstadt. In the third match on Sunday, returnee Tamira Paszek defeated Yvonne Neuwirth 2: 6, 6: 4 and 6: 1. The last game of the day between Arabella Koller and Elena Karner had to be stopped in the second set and will be played as the first match on Monday.
