Neumayer won the first set against fourth-placed Juan-Ignaicio Londero 7: 6 (7), after which the Argentine had to give up. The opponent in the fight for a place in the main field is routine Lukas Rosol from the Czech Republic, who defeated Juan Manuel Cerundolo in three sets.
