Generali Open Kitzbühel: Altmaier beats Cecchinato, Erler loses against Ymer
Daniel Altmaier has reached the quarter-finals at the Generali Open in Kitzbühel. Local hero Alexander Erler was eliminated.

Daniel Altmeier and Marco Cecchinato did not leave the court chef as best friends. They don't have to either. after the 6: 4 and 6: 3 for the young German, however, the two exchanged niceties, Atmaier will not have cared. He is allowed to continue in Gamsstadt, playing against Gianluca Mager, the next Italian, on Thursday.
Alexander Erler was not granted that. One day after his surprising success against Carlos Alcaraz, Tyrolean Mikael Ymer lost 2: 6 and 3: 6. The final phase of this match, like that of Altmaier, no longer had a blessing from above - it was raining really hard. Ymer still has to wait for his quarter-final opponent: Casper Ruud's match against Mario Villela Martinez was delayed due to external circumstances.
