Austin Krajicek and Franko Skugor - double winners in Kitzbühel 2020

Krajicek and Skugor had gone as outsiders against the Granollers and Zeballos, who were in first place. But after more than two hours they won 7: 6 (5) and 7: 5. In the semifinals, the eventual winners had won against the second seeded pair, Ivan Dodig and Filip Polasek. Granollers / Zeballos had destroyed hopes of an Austrian home win with their 6: 1, 6: 4 against Oliver Marach and Jürgen Melzer.

After the double final, all four players had to head straight for Rome: Granollers and Zeballos are seeded there as number four, opening against Gianluca Mager and Andrea Seppi. Krajicek and Skugor meet the two Canadians Milos raonic and Félix Auger-Aliassime.

Oliver Marach will attack in Rome with his regular partner Raven Klaasen, who both play against the Australians Max Purcell and Luke Saville. Jürgen Melzer and Edouard Roger-Vasselin meet Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
