Kecmanovic was the last player left in the tableau who did not qualify for the main draw. After a confidently won first set against the Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler, Kecmanovic suddenly began to tremble towards the end of the second half and had immense problems with the serve. Huesler gladly took it, sent the game into overtime. After 2:19 hours of play, the favored man from Belgrade prevailed with 6: 2, 5: 7 and 6; 3.

In the final on Sunday (3 p.m., live on ServusTV), the 21-year-old will face Yannik Hanfmann. The German beat Laslo Djere 4: 6, 6: 3 and 7: 6 (5). For both players it is the second final on the ATP tour: Kecmanovic was close to winning the tournament in Antalya 2019, Hanfmann 2017 in Gstaad.

The two finalists share their American past and present: Yannick Hanfmann spent some time at a college, Miomir Kecmanovic left his home at the age of 13 to train at the IMG Academy in Florida. At the moment, Kecmanovic is on position 47 in the ATP world rankings - and goes into the final game as a favorite against the three-digit Hanfmann.
