Generali Open Kitzbühel: Ofner wins duel against Thiem
Sebastian Ofner defeated Lucas Miedler twice in the tiebreak in the Austrian duel at the Generali Open in Kitzbühel. Now there is a duel with Dominic Thiem on Wednesday.

Sebastian Ofner and Lucas Miedler know each other well. Not least because the two Austrians often compete in the same ATP Challenger tournaments. In single and in double. Wherever they started together in Kitzbühel. In the singles game on Tuesday, Ofner prevailed 7: 6 (19 and 7: 6 (5)), after Miedler started the second with a break after losing the first set, but Ofner made a quick comeback and settled also in the second set in the tie-break.
On Wednesday there will be a meeting with Dominic Thiem at 7:30 p.m. (live on ServusTV and in our live ticker). The Austrian number one had enjoyed a walk-through in round one.
Moritz Thiem has left. Dominic's younger brother lost 3-6, 2-6 alongside coach Nicolas Massu on the court kitchen master Hugo Dellien from Bolivia and Spaniard David Vega Hernandez.
