Generali Open Kitzbühel: Qualification starts today with two Austrians
With Lukas Neumayer and Lucas Miedler, two local heroes are trying to qualify for the Generali Open in Kitzbühel.

Two Austrians with Dennis Novak and Alexander Erler are already in the main field of the Generali Open 2021, two more could join. The tasks for Lukas Neumayer and Lucas Miedler in the qualifying tournament in Kitzbühel are anything but easy: Neumayer has to play against the Argentine Juan-Ignacio Londero, Miedler plays against Mario Villela Martinez from Spain. Also in the tableau: Ernests Gulbis, former semi-finalist in Roland Garros.
Special attention should be paid to two youngsters: Leandro Riedi from Switzerland was given a wildcard by license holder Octagon, he is up against Jozef Kovalik from Slovakia. UNd Holger Nodskov Rune, a confident young Dane and junior champion at the French Open, opened against Marc Polmans from Australia.
