As every year, when it comes to the topic of "Members in the International Tennis Hall of Fame", it should first be noted that a Hall of Fame in which Thomas Muster is not represented, but Michael Chang is, urgently meets the criteria for entry in which Hall should reconsider. Not that Chang didn't deserve that honor. But the whole story (including the suffering) of Muster is of course a lot more exciting.

Well.

So there are again seven candidates who could be assigned a place in Newport, Rhode Island, next summer. And of course they all have their merits. With Juan Carlos Ferrero and Carlos Moya, there are not only two men on the list who have topped the ATP charts and won Grand Slam tournaments. No, the two Spaniards are also actively involved as coaches, as supervisors of Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal.

Pennetta and Ivanovic nominated

Daniel Nestor, on the other hand, can rightly call himself a “double legend”, the Canadian could make the leap and the Hall of Fame just as Cara Black from Zimbabwe could. And, speaking of pair skating specialists, Lisa Raymond too.

In terms of individual brilliance for women, Flavia Pennetta and Ana Ivanovic were nominated. Both have a major victory in their vita, and Ivanovic also has the world number one.
