Jan-Lennard Struff and local hero Rublev in St. Petersburg in the quarter-finals
Jan-Lennard Struff reached the quarter-finals at the ATP 500 tournament in St. Petersburg, as did number 1 in the tournament - Andrey Rublev.

Struff beat the seven seeded Alexander Bublik 6: 4 and 6: 3 in the round of 16. He will now face Denis Shapovalov, who needed three sets against Pablo Andujar.
Defending champion Andrey Rublev has also reached the round of the last eight. The top seeded sixth in the world rankings beat Ilya Ivashka 6: 4, 6: 4. The next opponent is the winner of the game between Sebastian Korda and Botic van de Zandschulp.
