Kim Clijsters initially prefers the training ground
Kim Clijsters will hold back from competitive tennis for the coming weeks - and wants to inform about more detailed return plans.

The Belgian returned to the tour in the spring, for the second time after actually ending her career. And despite a lack of match practice and at least 37 year olds, had impressed with strong tennis, although in the end there were three defeats on paper - against Garbine Muguruza, Johanna Konta and at the US Open against Ekaterina Alexandrova .

Clijsters wants to train (and make sandwiches)
A few days ago, Clijsters announced her cancellation of the tournaments in Rome and the French Open (for which she would also have needed a wildcard), but still seems positive about her "third" tennis career. "I've decided to spend the next few weeks with my family," wrote Clijsters on Twitter. "New York showed me the progress I've made. And also what I still have to work on. Clijsters now has three children. She is married to ex-basketball player Brian Lynch.
