As expected, Djokovic won against friend Viktor Troicki on Saturday - but surprisingly had to surrender Filip Krajinovic in the night session. Zverev, in turn, was able to make up a deficit against Krajinovic. And had no problems with Troicki in the last match of the first day at the Adria Cup. To date, Djokovic and Zverev have played against each other on the ATP tour, the Serbian leads with 3: 2 victories in the balance sheet.
The Adria Cup is not played in regular mode, but in a shorter version with sets only up to four (tie break at 3: 3).
