Lucas Pouille's proof of work for 2020 is very modest: the Frenchman, suffering from injuries, was only able to play one match. And that at the Challenger tournament in Indian Wells. Pouille was defeated there by Noah Rubin. After all: During the Corona break, the 26-year-old made a contribution to the general public and launched a disinfectant gel on the market in no time at all. In late summer, Pouille went on Instagram to announce his impending fatherhood. The photo with girlfriend Clemence was clear.

A few weeks ago, Pouille let his fan base know that he had caught the COVID-19 virus. And now used his channels to thank coach Amélie Mauresmo: For the two-year collaboration, which will no longer be continued in the coming year.

Mauresmo had left her mark on the ATP tour even before joining Pouille: as Andy Murray's trainer. The collaboration between Filip Krajinovic and Janko Tipsarevic has also come to an end. The Serb announced this before his first round defeat at the Erste Bank Open in Vienna.
