Andy Murray had the most fun at the console

Andy Murray did everything right at the Madrid Virtual Open: First of all at the console. David Goffin proved to be a stubborn opponent in the final, Murray won 7: 6 (5). Then when it came to entertainment - the British’s comments made the observers smile on several occasions. And finally, Murray did something good - and donated his € 150,000 prize money equally to the British Health Service (NHS) and the relief fund for tennis players who have to fight for their livelihood these days.

"We made a lot of money for the good cause," said the three-time major winner. "It was very nice from a personal point of view to chat a bit with other players again. This is something that I missed in the current situation, but which I have got used to over the past twelve, 14 years of my life."

Andy Murray wants to learn better Spanish

Andy Murray still sees room for improvement in terms of foreign languages. "I'm going to work on my Spanish. There is no excuse for not trying to learn Spanish a little better now that I spend a lot of time at home and little else is happening in my life. So good that I'm confident enough to speak in public. " Murray has already chosen an opportunity for this: next year's ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Madrid. "Next year, when I come to the tournament and receive the trophy, I will deliver my speech in Spanish. It is a commitment that I make." Murray has already won the traditional event at Caja Magical 2015 once.

Kiki Bertens prevailed among women. The Dutchwoman beat Fiona Ferro from France in the final. And in a way defended its title won in the previous year.
