Marian Vajda on Novak Djokovic: "Can break all records"

While Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are exercising restraint in the GOAT (Greatest of all time) debate, Novak Djokovic makes no secret of the fact that the historic number one and the most Grand Slam victories are his declared goal. His longtime companion Marian Vajda also believes the Serb can do that.

"It's completely crazy that three of the best players of all time are active at the same time," said Robin Söderling a few months ago. With Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, these three big dominators still regularly face each other in the really big matches. Always with the great commitment to be able to take another step towards history books with a victory.

This was achieved in the latest chapter of the rivalry between the triumvirate Rafael Nadal. The Iberian played a “perfect match” last Sunday, as the defeated Djokovic had to admit afterwards, and secured Grand Slam title number 20. “It was one of Novak's bad days and the best day for Nadal,” he now states longtime companion of the Serb, Marian Vajda in an interview with Novostri.

Djokovic "can break all records"

Meanwhile, Vajda is convinced that this damper does not mean the end of Djokovic's ambitions to collect the most Grand Slam trophies of all time: "That is his goal and I firmly believe that he will achieve it. He can do them all Break records, "said the Slovak. Djokovic is close, he is healthy and young compared to competitor Federer.

If it were up to Vajda, the Slovak will still sit in the Serb's box after he has set the Grand Slam record: "I hope we will work together until he breaks all the records. Let's do it Start with winning the 20 Grand Slam titles together, "said Vajda. Djokovic is still missing three of the big titles. At the Australian Open in spring, however, the Serb will again go into the race as a top favorite.
