Milos Raonic cancels Wimbledon injured

Canadian professional tennis player Milos Raonic has canceled his participation in the All England Championships at Wimbledon.

The reason given was the world rankings 18. a calf injury. "I worked hard to cure it, but had a small setback. That's why I will not be ready," said the 30-year-old Wimbledon finalist from 2016 on Instagram.

Raonic had defeated Roger Federer, among others, on his way to the final in 2016, in the final he was then defeated by Andy Murray.

Grand Slam record winner Rafael Nadal (Spain) and world number two Naomi Osaka (Japan) had already canceled their participation on Thursday.
