Novak and Jelena Djokovic are again generous this year

It has long been known that Novak Djokovic has a heart for children. In 2012 Djokovic received the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian Award for his philanthropic work. Since then, the industry leader has not only given up on the court, but also with his foundation when it comes to doing good. The foundation is currently building a preschool in the Serbian city of Nis. And as in previous years, Novak and Jelena Djokovic will double every donation made for this project.

The extent of the work of the Novak Djokovic Foundation can also be seen from the fact that the 49th (!) Kindergarten has already opened these days. In Topola.

With regard to the project in Nis, the Djokovic couple emphasized in a broadcast how important it is for children to attend (pre-) school or kindergarten. Especially in times like these when many parents have to work at home and don't have enough time for their children.

"Nis is a delightful city with a unique culture," it said. "We have great memories of this city and we are happy that during this time of giving we can raise funds to open a new preschool there and thus enable children and their parents to dream big."

If you want to help, you can do so here until January 8th, 2022!
