After the ATP Masters 1000 event in Montreal, the tennis circus continues to the United States. Next stop: Cincinnati. In Ohio, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, the two big absenteeists of the Rogers Cup will return to the stage, with Rafael Nadal one of the "Big Three" is missing in Cincinnati.

"The three of us are still playing our best tennis at the biggest tournaments," said Novak Djokovic, the world number one, on the sidelines of the seventh ATP Masters 1000 tournament, the dominance of Federer, Nadal and himself identified a successor: Dominic Thiem .

"Most Experience With Grand Slam Endgames"

"He's been around for a few years now and has the most experience of grand slam finals of all. I definitely see Thiem as a man who can be the leader of this sport," said Djokovic. The Austrian has been in the French Open finals twice, but has beaten Rafael Nadal in both.

The industry leader trusts the Lichtenwörther to follow in the footsteps of possibly the three best players of all time: "The time will come, hopefully not so quickly." In Cincinnati, Thiem and Djokovic could only meet in the final.
