Next exit Montreal - so Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer have already recovered from the physical and mental efforts of their epic Wimbledon final and motivated to go all out again in the first of the two major North American hard court tournaments. Should one of the two superstars in Canada succeed, then this would also lead to the lead in the "Big Titles" category. Since the Wimbledon final, it has been divided in the hands of Djokovic and Federer, each with 54. Not far behind, by the way, Rafael Nadal, who, according to his historical claims that the clay court season was not entirely successful, has 52 successes.

In one respect, however, the Serbian industry leader is already clearly ahead: Novak Djokovic needs the fewest attempts to succeed at a major, the ATP Finals or a Masters 1000 tournament. 3.3 starts for a title, which is slightly better than Nadal (3.5) and yet somewhat better than Federer (4.2). Also note: only Djokovic was able to win all nine Masters 1000 tournaments at least once.

Here the eternal statistics of the "big titles"

player Grand Slam victories ATP finals Masters 1000 tournaments total Starts per win
Roger Federer 20th 6 28 54 3.3
Novak Djokovic 16 5 33 54 3.5
Rafael Nadal 18th 0 34 52 4.2
