French Open champions Andreas Mies and Kevin Krawietz have qualified as fourth doubles for the ATP final tournament in London (10-17 November). The duo from Coburg and Cologne benefited from the results of the competition at the indoor tournament in Vienna, which announced the player organization ATP on Saturday.
Before Krawietz / Mies, Juan Sebastian Cabal / Robert Farah (Colombia), Lukasz Kubot / Marcelo Melo (Poland / Brazil) and Raven Klaasen / Michael Venus (New Zealand) had already solved their tickets for London. Also at the start are Nicolas Mahut / Pierre-Hugues Herbert (France) by their title at the Australian Open. There are still three places left.
Kevin Krawietz (27) and Andreas Mies (29) are the double climbers of the season. Together they won the title in Paris and the indoor tournaments in New York and Antwerp. At the US Open, they reached the semifinals. Davis Cup team boss Michael Kohlmann nominated the duo for the final tournament in Madrid (18 to 24 November).
