Former world number three Grigor Dimitrov said it's impressive what Carlos Alcaraz can achieve at such a young age. But he also warned not to put too much pressure on the 18-year-old. Alcaraz has had a stunning start to the year - he's already a Masters champion and a top 10 player. Dimitrov: "I think it's great what he achieves at such an early age. He plays quite mature tennis and seems to be at a very, very high level physically. He's on the right track at the moment, but you should let him do his thing and not put too much pressure on him."

Stefanos Tsitsipas, who lost to Alcaraz in last week's Barcelona semifinals, also had words of appreciation for the up-and-coming talent. "He's already built up a rivalry too many games and I think that can help him, at least it can't hurt him. At first he was the underdog, but now he's arrived. People know him better. Of course we want to beat him now, like he sometimes beats us.”

Osaka: "Enthusiasm like it hasn't been for a long time"

Carlos Alcaraz has also done it to the former world number one, Naomi Osaka. She closely followed the Spaniard's rise into the top 10. "I feel like he's really getting everyone excited right now. I haven't seen that in a long time."

Alcaraz has had an impressive record this season, winning three titles and finishing in the top 10. And of course many are already wondering what Alcaraz can do in Paris.
