In a post on the Weibo platform, Peng wrote: "Why did you bring me to your house to force me to have sex with you? Yes, I had no evidence, it was impossible to have evidence." She couldn't describe how disgusted she was and how often she wondered if she was still human. /

Zhang was always afraid she would bring a tape recorder to record evidence. "There is no sound recording, no video recording, just my distorted but very real experience."

Later it became a kind of forced relationship with the married Zhang, who played tennis, table tennis and chess together.

At the beginning, however, the sex was against her will when she visited Zhang in his house to play tennis. You did not agree "and cried incessantly". But there is no point in opening her mouth, Peng continued.

Zhang was a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the People's Republic of China, the country's highest decision-making body, from 2012 to 2017. From 2013 to 2018 he also acted as Vice Prime Minister.

Peng's account will be blocked

About 30 minutes later, Peng's message had disappeared, Weibo - China's version of Twitter - had censored the post, and shortly afterwards Peng's entire account. In the meantime, a search for the keyword "tennis" was no longer possible. Corresponding discussions from users were prevented. Sending screenshots was also no longer possible.

Sexual abuse is still a taboo subject in China. In 2018, however, a #MeToo movement started here too, when a student accused her professor of sexual harassment. A TV presenter was also accused, and singer Kris Wu was arrested.

Peng Shuai was 14th in the world in 2014 and number 1 in doubles. In 2013, she won doubles at Wimbledon, and in 2014 at the French Open.
