Several Argentinian media report on this. /

According to the newspaper Olé , the Argentine businessman Lisandro Borges (CEO of the World Padel Tour Buenos Aires) had planned an exhibition series with Nadal. Borges claims to have signed an agreement with Nadal with Nadal's manager Carlos Costa as well as Giovanni and Nicolas Lapenti to organize exhibition fights in November in Argentina, Mexico and Ecuador (via the Lapenttis).

Chicago was discussed as the fourth station, but this did not work out. After that, Colombia and Chile were an issue, which also turned out to be a problem.

In Argentina there should have been a game against Juan Martin del Potro.

"If we don't reach an agreement in mediation, we will go to court"

Borges claims to Olé that Nadal's team has meanwhile negotiated with another promoter, Marcelo Figoli, the head of the group Alpha Medios and Fenix Entertainment. According to Borges, the original agreement had an expiry date, but there was an agreement beyond the contract - Nadal's side sees it differently, which led to talks with Figoli and a contract being concluded there.

"If we don't reach an agreement in meditation, we will go to court," Borges told Olé . "I spoke to Costa, he admitted to me that he wrote to us asking for an extension and he's bragging about not signing it. Nadal has signed a contract twice. We're going to sue him for $10m ."

Borges also told tn.com : "To sue what I think is the greatest athlete in history because his manager is a villain doesn't strike me as funny. But the truth is we have no choice but to do it, if someone does us as much harm as this man has done us."

Borges says Costa wanted a better deal. And Nadal would not have started for less than four appointments at $ 2.5 million. "He won't come for less than 10 million," it said.

A request from Olé an Costa has not yet been answered.
