Ranking: Top 10 of the decade with Dominic Thiem

Dominic Thiem was chosen by Tennis Media in the top 10 largest players of the decade that has almost passed. The 26-year-old not only contributed to the progress of tennis with his results, but also with his appearance on and off the court.

"With his intense spin, Thiem developed into one of the largest clay court players of the second half of the decade," judges tennis.com with a reference to Thiem's ten tournament wins on clay and his four triumphs over Rafael Nadal.

"When he was in the top 10, he showed that he was by no means playing one-dimensional by beating Roger Federer and winning the Indian Wells title."

The list is naturally led by the Big-3. Novak Djokovic won 15 Grand Slams ahead of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. The first chaser is Andy Murray. Stan Wawrinka and Marin Cilic are two other major winners in fifth and sixth place.

David Ferrer, Tomas Berdych and Juan Martin Del Potro took the places immediately before Thiem.
