The Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami has almost become a class reunion for Roger Federer, where you can see well-known colleagues again after a long time. Well, Federer exchanged views with Serena Williams at the Met Gala just a few days ago, but sister Venus only showed up in motorsport. And then there was Juan Martin del Potro, who shared a warm hug with Federer and even more warm small talk.

Of course, the Maestro's presence was also a hit with the TV crews. And as always, Roger Federer was ready to answer a few questions about current tennis. And one of the most urgent is: Will Rafael Nadal be able to start at the French Open 2023?

Federer wishes Nadal and Djokovic all the best

"It would be brutal if that wasn't the case. Very tough for tennis if Rafa wasn't there. I'm still hoping for it, even though I've just seen that he won't compete in Rome. I wish him all the best.”

But not just his longtime rival and pal. "Obviously Novak hasn't played that much either, I hope he will be strong. And then of course there are the boys who are just coming up. I'll definitely check it out!”
