In the United States, as you know, pre-school comes before kindergarten, then it goes to the right school. For Olympia, Serena Williams' daughter, she will soon be attending the pre-school and will celebrate her third birthday in autumn. It can be assumed that the funds at Williams / Ohanian are sufficient to give the good child a different protective mask for every day on the way to school.

The initiative that Mama Serena has now launched with a clothing manufacturer is aimed more at the somewhat older target group. 4.25 million masks are to be donated in the coming weeks when classes resume, plus one more for each mask purchased from schools. Of course, it is currently difficult to make a prediction in the USA (as in large parts of Europe) when a reasonably regular game operation should start again.

The 23-time major winner will continue her sporting activities from August 10 in Lexington, Kentucky. Williams leads a strong field there with Aryna Sabalenka, Johanna Konta or the two US young stars Amanda Anisimova and Cori Gauff, after which Serena continues to New York, where she wants to participate in the tournament, which was moved from Cincinnati, as well as in the US Open. There she had lost to Bianca Andreescu in the final last year.
