Novak Djokovic did not gain any points as defending champion, but that wasn't necessary either: with 12,113 points, he is still somewhat relaxed in front of Daniil Medvedev with 10,280 points. Rafael Nadal and Stefanos Tsitsipas follow. And then: Alexander Zverev in 5th place, he passed Dominic Thiem . Finalist Matteo Berrettini makes up one place and is number 8, ahead of Roger Federer on 9 and Denis Shapovalov on 10. /

Behind him is Hubert Hurkacz on 11th: The semi-finalist has made up seven places and achieved a new high ranking. Felix Auger-Aliassime is also higher than ever in 15th place.

From a German perspective, Jan-Lennard Struff is 47, Dominik Koepfer 59. In Austria Dennis Novak remains 122, ahead of Jurij Rodionov in 138 and Sebastian Ofner in 167.

Williams flies out of the top 10, Kerber catches up, Petkovic again in the top 100

Ashleigh Barty remains number 1 for women, so she should have silenced her critics as well. Some had claimed that Barty had benefited too much from the Corona world rankings compared to Naomi Osaka, who had recently won two major tournaments, but was still not number 1, while Barty had hardly played. She now leads with 9,635 points ahead of Osaka with 7,336 points. Aryna Sabalenka is the new number 3. Karolina Pliskova has moved back to seventh place after a short time outside the top ten. Meanwhile, there is a downward trend for Simona Halep , who was unable to defend her Wimbledon title due to an injury, slipped from 3rd place to 9th place. Serena Williams flew out of the top 10 to 16th place.

Angelique Kerber , on the other hand, has made up six places and is now number 22. The Swiss Viktorija Golubic has reached her new career high with rank 48. Andrea Petkovic won 33 places with her finals in Hamburg and is back in the top 100 with 97th place. Hamburg winner Elena-Gabriela Ruse even climbed 65 places and is now the new number 133. Jule Niemeier , semi-finalist in Hamburg, made up 27 places and with 140th place is higher than ever before - strong!

In Austria, Barbara Haas remains the measure of all things with 158th place, ahead of Julia Grabher in 201st place.
