Novak Djokovic's "60 Minutes" on the US channel CBS was eagerly awaited. And you really have to say: the show and the interview kept what they promised. We have already reported on the Serb's statements towards his GOAT rivals Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. You can read it again here .

But if you watch the entire program, you'll notice that Djokovic doesn't give a damn about a piece of wisdom that almost every coach gives to his protégé. Especially in the early days of a tennis player. "Just look at yourself! What your opponent does doesn't matter at all," almost every ambitious hobby player has probably heard at some point.

Can we learn something from “Djoker”?

Novak Djokovic acts exactly according to the opposite maxim on the court, as he revealed in the interview with journalist Jon Wertheim: "In tennis there is no physical contact, but there is a lot of eye contact. When changing sides, when I sit and my opponent stands up "When I see him drinking on the big screen, I watch him. How does he drink? Does he sweat more than usual? How does he breathe? How does he communicate with his team? All of these elements affect performance," said the world number 1.

Even if you try to do it, you can't learn much from Novak Djokovic. But take a look at the other side more often? That should work. Even if the club trainer might complain. However, if you then refer to Novak Djokovic, he may also be convinced.
