As part of the Generali Open Kitzbühel you can feel like the ATP professionals. Together with Peugeot and the Generali Group, Kitzbühel will host the major finals of the Peugeot Race from July 30th to August 1st, 2020.
Due to the great success in previous years, pre-selection tournaments are also taking place in all federal states this year. The best players qualify for the finals in Kitzbühel using a points system. In this tournament, the matches are played in best-of-three mode, the participants are classified according to their ITN.
The final round in Kitzbühel, on the other hand, takes place as a tie-break shoot out, as in previous years. A champions tie-break is played in which the player with the weaker ITN receives a point requirement.

In addition to the experience of leaving your mark on Kitzbühel, there are also spectacular prizes to be won. Because wherever tennis professionals are given a car elsewhere, Kitzbühel is different: Here, the winner of the amateur tournament can look forward to a brand new Peugeot 2008 SUV GT Line . This year there is also a double tournament with 2 Peugeot Django scooters as the main prize. However, other prizes worth seeing will also be raffled off among all participants - such as a trip to the ATP Finals in London.

A special rating system is used to enable as many amateur players of different levels as possible to participate. This gives weaker players a point advantage corresponding to their game level. The qualifiers of the amateur tournament take place in all nine federal states (in the best-of-three mode). The final (as a tie-break shootout) then takes place on Kitzbüheler Sand, the price distribution before the individual tournament at the center court. All amateur players, women and men aged 17 and over, are eligible to participate.
