The race between Tiger Woods and Roger Federer, who is the first to reach and surpass the record marks in terms of success with majors, has clearly lost momentum in recent years. Federer has long overtaken Pete Sampras' mark of 14 (as have Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic), and is currently holding 20 Grand Slam titles.

Tiger Woods, in turn, suffered many setbacks after his victory at the US Open, sporting, private and health-related. With the victory on Sunday at the Masters in Augusta, Woods now holds 15 major successes. Which is still three less than Jack Nicklaus. Which will not bother Tiger Woods and his fans.

In the 2000s, Federer and Woods, sometimes pushed by joint sponsors, had shown up together from time to time. In the recent past, however, Tiger Woods seems to have changed its fronts - this is how the 43-year-old American was often seen in the box by Rafael Nadal. After the victory in Augusta, he only misses two major titles.
