US Open draw: Thiem with a good draw, Zverev has a harder time - Williams meets Sharapova!
The US Open 2019 single draws were announced on Thursday at 12 noon local time. Dominic Thiem got a good draw at the beginning, the brawl duel is in round 1 for the women. Roger Federer has landed half of Novak Djokovic .

Men's draw: Thiem with a good draw at the beginning
The four seeded Dominic Thiem has landed in the lower half of the tableau, he starts against the Italian Thomas Fabbiano. It could follow Alexander Bublik or a qualifier. Kyle Edmund would be a possible third-round opponent, Gael Monfils or Felix Auger-Aliassime are potential candidates for the round of 16. A semi-final opponent strictly according to Draw: Rafael Nadal.
Alexander Zverev , number 6 of the tournament, starts against Radu Albot; Ivo Karlovic or Frances Tiafoe would be opponents in round 2.
Number 1 in the world, Novak Djokovic , plays against Roberto Carballes Baena in round 1, and Sam Querrey could wait in round 2. A round of 16 would be against Stan Wawrinka, who plays against a qualifier at the beginning. Possible quarter-final opponent: Daniil Medvedev.
