Madison Keys already had her second US Open final after 2017 on her racket. At a score of 5: 4, however, he did not manage to bring the victory to the finish with his own serve. Instead, Aryna Sabalenka made a big comeback. And won 0:6, 7:6 (1) and 7:6 (5).
Also because Madison Keys couldn't confirm a break to make it 4:2 in the third set and didn't know how to take advantage of two more break chances when the score was 4:3. A match tie-break had to decide the third set and thus entry into the final. And Aryna Sabalenka left no doubts about the winners right from the start, winning the short decision 10:5.
Gauff leads in the head-to-head with Sabalenka
In the final on Saturday, the woman from Belarus, who will lead the WTA world rankings for the first time from Monday, will face Coco Gauff, who beat Karolina Muchova 6:4 and 7:5 in the first semi-final.

Gauff and Sabalenka have already played each other five times. The American leads the record with 3-2 wins. Gauff is aiming for her first triumph in a Grand Slam tournament. Aryna Sabalenka made her debut as a major winner at the Australian Open earlier this year.
