World Ranking: Nadal remains first at the end of the year, Thiem fourth, Zverev seventh

Dominic Thiem will be in 4th place in the ATP World Ranking list thanks to his final appearance at the ATP Finals. Alexander Zverev remains in 7th place.

With 9,985 points, Rafael Nadal will overwinter for the fifth time in the world rankings top - so he equals with Jimmy Connors, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. Pete Sampras, who has been at the top six times at the end of a season, remains a record man, and "Pistol Pete" even managed to do so in the seasons from 1993 to 1998.

Djokovic is currently listed behind Nadal with 9,145 points. By far follow Roger Federer (6,590 points), Dominic Thiem (5,825 points), Daniil Medvedev (5,705 points) and ATP Finals winner Stefanos Tsitsipas (5,300 points). Behind them there is a gap, Alexander Zverev (3,345 points), Matteo Berrettini (2,870 points), Roberto Bautista Agut (2,540 points) and Gael Monfils (2,530 points) close the top 10.

Jan-Lennard Struff places Germany's number two with 35th place, while Philipp Kohlschreiber (79) and shooting star Dominik Koepfer (94) are also in the top 100.

From the Austrian point of view, behind Diem still Dennis Novak (108), Ortisei finalist Sebastian Ofner (157) and Lucas Miedler (273) in the top 300 follow.

In the women's Ashleigh Barty decides for the first time a season as world number one.
