WTA Abu Dhabi: Naomi Osaka flies out early again!
Like at the Australian Open a few days ago, Naomi Osaka failed in round one at the WTA Tour 500 tournament in Abu Dhabi.

Osaka held her own well against Danielle Collins for one set, but lost clearly 5:7 and 0:6 after only 83 minutes of play. It is now the American's turn to challenge tournament favorite Elena Rybakina in round two. Rybakina started with a bye.
After her return to the tour, Osaka only celebrated one match win: in Brisbane against Tamara Korpatsch. Then there was a defeat there against Karolina Pliskova. At the Australian Open, the four-time major winner was eliminated by Caroline Garcia in round one.
Another comebacker will have a new test tomorrow: Emma Raducanu will be able to play second-seeded Ons Jabeur after her convincing first-round win against Marie Bouzkova.
