WTA Birmingham: Ons Jabeur and Daria Kasatkina contest finals
Ons Jabeur and Daria Kasatkina will face each other in the final of the Birmingham WTA 250 tournament.

A total of six matches were on the program on the semi-finals day of the WTA 250 tournament in Birmingham. The reason for this, as is so often the case in England, was the weather, which made it impossible to hold the quarter-finals scheduled for Friday.
Right at the beginning of the day there was a small surprise with the defeat of third placed Donna Vekic against Heather Watson, and Coco Vandeweghe (vs. Marie Bouzkova), Daria Kasatkina (vs. Tereza Martincova) and Ons Jabeur (vs. Anastasia Potapova) her first task with flying colors.
In the semi-finals, the favorites then won two: First Jabeur prevailed 6: 3 and 6: 3 against Watson, then Kasatkina fixed the pairing with a 6: 2 and 6: 4 win over Vandeweghe.
