WTA Cincinnati: Ash Barty outclasses Viktoria Azarenka
Ash Barty is in the quarterfinals of the WTA 1000 event in Cincinnati after a very strong performance. The Australian gave the Belarusian Viktoria Azarenka no chance.

Actually, the round of 16 duel between Viktoria Azarenka and Ash Barty promised high-class tennis and an exciting encounter. The latter could not hold the match-up. And the former showed only one player. Namely number one in the world, Ash Barty. This was shown to be inviolable that day, and Azarenka even awarded the maximum penalty in the first sentence.
The Belarusian Azarenka was just able to prevent this in the second round. With 4-0, Barty was ready to make the second set flawless. Then the number-14 of the tournament could at least write. That changed very little at the exit: Barty won the quarter-final ticket in an extremely sovereign manner.
In this, the world number one waits for the winner of the duel between Barbora Krejcikova and Garbina Muguruza. Angelique Kerber, who defeated Jelena Ostapenko, has already reached the quarter-finals.
