Wimbledon semi-finalist Tatjana Maria has successfully started her dress rehearsal for the French Open, which begins on Sunday. The 35-year-old from Bad Saulgau made it into the round of 16 of the WTA clay court tournament in Rabat on Tuesday with a hard-fought 7: 5, 6: 7 (5), 6: 0 against the Russian qualifier Tatjana Prozorova in the first two rounds .
With a playing time of 2:43 hours, it was the longest duel at the WTA Tour 250 event in North Africa on Tuesday.
