Final in Stuttgart, semi-final in Rome - Aryna Sabalenka was allowed to play against Iga Swiatek twice in the past few weeks. It was enough to win a total of eight games, all four sets played ended 6:2 for the Pole, who was the superior leader in all ratings. Who, of course, has already secured her ticket for the season finale, as well as Ons Jabeur , who followed up her success in Madrid with a final in Rome.

Sabalenka, however, who had started the season as one of the favorites for the WTA throne for many experts, would not be in the big final as of now. Wherever this is ultimately held. But the woman from Belarus is slowly stalking her way into eight places. In any case, Sabalenka jumped up six places in the race and is currently in eleventh place.

In addition to Swiatek and Jabeur, the following women would currently be present at the end of the season: Paula Badosa, Maria Sakkari, Jessica Pegula, Danielle Collins, Anett Kontaveit and Madison Keys. By the way: Ashleigh Barty, who announced her retirement after winning the Australian Open, would still be in a safe third place in the annual ranking.
