Mandl: "Stadium filled up on the weekend of the final"

But a player from the top 50 could also play in Anif: The tournament in Anif takes place in the second week of Wimbledon - it is quite possible that players who are eliminated early in London will still dare the trip to the clay court tournament in Salzburg. Three wildcards are also given, "we even have to keep a wildcard for a player between positions eleven and 50 in hand until one day before the draw," said organizer Gerald Mandl in an interview with tennisnet.com .

In Anif they also want to welcome up to 970 spectators a day, whoever has been tested, vaccinated or recovered is allowed to visit the facility. "Especially on the weekend of the finals, we want to get the stadium full," says Mandl.
