Here is the match to read in the live ticker.
Thiem needed 2:03 hours to leave the court as the winner in Bordeaux with 4: 6, 6: 4 and 6: 3. The serve wasn't worth that much in this match: there was a real break festival, especially in the first set. In the end, Dominic Thiem had taken his French opponent's serve six times.
In round two, Thiem has to deal with a local hero again: It's against Corenton Moutet, who was able to hold his own against the lucky loser Michael Geerts in three sets. Should Dominic thiem win this match as well, there could be a meeting with Jan-Lennard Struff in the quarterfinals. The German is seeded in first place in Bordeaux.
Andy Murray greets from the bottom of the tableau. The Scot starts either against Stan Wawrinka or the Frenchman Ugo Blanchet.
