ATP Challenger Prague: Wawrinka, Kohlschreiber and Ofner at the start

Stan Wawrinka has decided against a US trip and an extended clay court break. At the ATP Challenger tournament in Prague he is top seed.

Stan Wawrinka "did not want to go to America under these circumstances," as he recently announced . Instead, "Stan the Man" wants to use the Challenger prelude. It's already going to start in Prague on Saturday, with two consecutive tournaments in the Czech capital, both of which the Swiss wants to take with him.

Wawrinka, as world number 17. the only participant from the top 50 is in the top ahead of Jiri Vesely, Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Philipp Kohlschreiber. The first 16 players in the tournament, endowed with € 137,560, have a bye in round 1.

Wawrinka is waiting for the winner of the game between Roman Safiulin and Lukas Rosol, Kohlschreiber for Alexey Vatutin or Mats Moraing.

The Austrian Sebastian Ofner is also at the start, he is in 15th position and will meet Zdenek Kolar or a qualifier in round 2.

Oscar Otte (against Malek Jaziri), Daniel Masur (against Michael Vrbensky), Rudi Molleker (against Adrian Menendez-Maceiras) and Yannick Maden (against Arthus de Greef or Enzo Couacaud) are also at the start.
