ATP Finals: Medvedev qualified as fourth professional
Daniil Medvedev qualified as the fourth professional for the ATP Finals in London. The 23-year-old Russian had made it to the semi-finals of the US Open and thus secured his ticket for the prestigious season finale from November 15 to 22 in the British metropolis.

Eight professionals are starting in London and 2018 winner Alexander Zverev is also on course with his finals in New York, currently the Hamburg-based company is in seventh place in the world rankings. Before Medvedev, the world number one Novak Djokovic from Serbia, the Spanish top star Rafael Nadal and the newly crowned US Open champion Dominic Thiem from Austria had already qualified.
Due to the corona pandemic, the ATP Finals will take place without spectators. A year ago, Greece's young star Stefanos Tsitsipas won the title.
