So finally: Sinner and Kyrgios should have met in Indian Wells, but the young Italian had to withdraw there. So now in Miami. And there it is actually a miracle: Sinner had to fight hard, in two matches he had to fend off match points - in the last game against Pablo Carreno Busta five !
And Nick Kyrgios? Did the tournament almost too well for his standards. He missed Anrey Rublev 6: 3, 6: 0, and Fabio Fognini didn't have much to report afterwards either.
Oh yes: And Sinner is someone who even the unpredictable Australian has a lot of respect for. "He's one of my favorite players from the boys. He's got a lot of steam on both sides, is very self-confident, has a strong game. I think Sinner will achieve some special things in this sport," Kyrgios recently explained.
