Tsitsipas has so far plowed through the tournament with strong performances, after his critical opening match against Ugo Humbert, in which he initially left five match points and had to go into overtime. He then made short work of Karen Khachanov and Casper Ruud.
Opelka had to fight more, against Nick Kyrgios and Lloyd Harris it went deep into the third set.
In a direct comparison between Tsitsipas and Opelka, it is 1-0 for the man from Greece, he benefited from Opelka's task in Cincinnati in 2020.
