Mannarino, the left-hander with the mattress strings, won 5: 7, 7: 6 (4) and 6: 3 and thus returned the favor for the final defeat two years ago: At that time Rublev had won 6: 4, 6: 0 and his celebrated his first home win in Moscow - and his second tournament win overall.

Bitter for Rublev: At 6: 5 and Mannarino's serve, he already had match point in the second set, but hit a backhand into the net. In the third set, Mannarino hardly allowed anything, especially when serving.

Mannarino now meets Ricardas Berankis.

Currently at the start is Aslan Karatsev, who is seeded two, he is playing against Egor Gerasimov (here live ).
